Blogging

I know I said I would be mindless in my rambling but nothing frustrates me more than reading a blog about someone standing in line at a Starbucks only to complain about the price of coffee at the counter! Did you not know you were at the most over-priced, under-valued, popular coffee shop in the United States? Enough of that, let's get into the meat.

This blog entry was intended to give me the necessary experience in the webby market by trying out various tools in the industry. I cannot truly understand the technology that people really use day-to-day without feeling it out for myself. Now, I understand that I may not truly get a sense of the problems and the features created to solve those if I do not stay diligent, however my intention is not to start and write and maintain 1352 blogs just for this experience. I do believe that if I bother myself with at least taste testing some of these products I will, in the process, learn what it is like to be one of my end-users. It is not easy developing software in a vacuum and I fear that despite my general propensity to capture the desire of my users, I fall short. This could be seen as both an admission of guilt but as well it represents my dedication to fight to maintain that edge. Blogger is nice. The HTML Editor is very responsive and the images download quickly. This is in stark contrast to the Cute Soft Editor we have employed in the past. I sure would like to do away with that control and replace it with something more user friendly and consistently accurate. I am also happy to see the integration to Picasa. Talk about taking general concepts that benefit by being married in a harmonious union!

Well it's time I get moving. I need to freshen up my newest ideas and get ready to sprint them out in the morning. I wonder how many features i can write that will enhance current interoperability?!
